Fiona will be doing a demo in water media on Yupo. Fiona will discuss what Yupo is made of, and will show images of how artists use it. Through her work she aims to create a feeling of stillness, awareness, weight and space. Her work has been in national and international exhibitions and is in many corporate collections. Annual Meeting & Members' Artist Challenge: Whimsey, Fun, & Funk!
Doug Mock will be critiquing our challenge, Whimsey, Funk & Fun. Have some fun with your art, and with your viewers. Almost anything goes! Let your mind wander and your fingers fly. Tease the Senses. Laugh a lot! Make someone else laugh! Communicate joy! Turn inside out, & outside in! Try satire; invent the impossible. But, you don’t have to be whimsical, funky & fun all at the same time. One or a bit of some will do. |
