JRAL's March 2022 Members Annual Judged Exhibit
James River Art League is an organization of more than 120 member artists from throughout Central Virginia. Our goal is to encourage the creation and appreciation of the visual arts.
We provide our member artists with motivation, association, and continuing education through programs that feature qualified artists and art professionals, and we provide opportunities for members to exhibit artwork in venues throughout the Richmond area.
We at James River Art League would like to thank Jenni and Crossroads for the wonderful space we have for our show.
This show is our annual judged show. For the judge this year we have Francis Thompson.
Francis is the Art Program Project Manager at JLL - Capital One account. Over the past decade, he has managed a team responsible for maintaining and expanding a contemporary corporate art collection installed within office buildings throughout North America.
Francis is a native of Virginia; he holds a Master of Fine Arts in Arts Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and drawing from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA – Go Hokies.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, we regretfully were not able to host an awards reception for this exhibit. However, Crossroads Art Center helped us to video the award selections. Please enjoy the video by the judge, Francis Thompson. |
